It was another busy and fun filled week, the highlight of which was the "Hockey Big Day Out" on Friday.
Paul Jennings and I had the pleasure of taking two Parawai teams to this awesome event on Friday. Thank you to those parents who provided transport and support for our students, and well done to our students who played so well and so fairly.
The Year 7 /8 team came 3rd ( in very closely fought match in which they gave their all) and the Year 5 / 6 team came second in a really tight game where the goal posts (orange cones) were moving and it was hard to judge when shots at goal were in or out. Both teams were a credit to Parawai School and should feel so proud of their achievements.

Room 10 and 11 Scientists continue their investigations.
The students in both classes are modifying their ramps and jumps to make them more effective - testing different lengths and angles. They are also learning the importance of accurately measuring and recording data, so they can analyse their results and draw logical conclusions. This week in Rm 10 it was a 'Boys Only' lesson, as the girls were all at 'Self Defence' training.
In Room 12 we were missing our Yr 7 girls, so portraits were 'off the agenda' and we tried our hand at making Easter Cards.
A wonderful celebration of our students' work and achievements. We love seeing what the students in our syndicate have been doing.
