(Search and Rescue) will be visiting to talk to the students. On Friday the whole school made Rewana bread to celebrate Matariki. Each class made their own "bug" out of potatoes and water, let the mixture ferment used it to make their bread rise. Each class made their bread in a different way and some even used bread makers... Our wonderful PTA also made soup for every class which was delicious.

Last Thursday, Rooms 6 , 14 and 15 shared their artwork and poems in assembly (Thank you to Will our photographer). We saw woven Matariki stars, van Gogh wheatfields and heard some cool poems. Congratulations to our certificate winners too, and our awesome presenters. On Tuesday week 7 two teams of students from Rooms 6 and 15 will be taking part in the EPro 8 Science Challenge. They will be working in groups competing against other science and technology whizz kids from other schools in the area. Look out for photos of this event coming up. |
